Discover Our Farm

Built by Hand. Led with Heart.

About Cassi

Cassi’s love for horses began long before Hardwood Ridge Farms was ever imagined. As a young rider, she spent her days sweeping barn aisles, watching lessons, and riding any horse she had the chance to sit on. Horses weren’t just a hobby — they became a lifelong pursuit of learning, growth, and discipline.

That passion led her to pursue equestrian studies in college, where she refined her skills, expanded her understanding of multiple disciplines, and deepened her appreciation for the details that shape both horse and rider. Being placed in the advanced riding division early on was a validating moment — confirming the foundation she had built through years of dedication.

Over time, Cassi continued exploring different disciplines, competing, training young horses, and investing in her own growth. That journey shaped her belief that true horsemanship is built through patience, consistency, and a willingness to keep improving — no matter your level.

As an instructor, Cassi is committed to helping riders build confidence alongside skill. She challenges students to step outside their comfort zone while providing the structure and support they need to succeed. Her goal isn’t simply to teach someone how to ride — it’s to help them understand the horse, develop responsibility, and grow in confidence both in and out of the arena.

Hardwood Ridge Farms reflects that same vision. Built from the ground up with intention and hard work, the farm exists to create opportunity — for riders to grow, for horses to be developed thoughtfully, and for families to be part of a community where effort is valued and progress is earned.

Building Hardwood Ridge Farms

Hardwood Ridge Farms was purchased in late 2022 as a blank slate. With no fences, no arenas, and no recent livestock history, the property required vision, grit, and countless hours of work.

Together, Cassi and her husband Jason began building the facility with intention — designing spaces for horses, riders, and events to grow year after year.

Today, Hardwood Ridge continues to expand thoughtfully, adding infrastructure, hosting events, and developing a barn culture centered on hard work, respect, and opportunity.

What began as a dream is steadily becoming a destination for riders who value structure, discipline, and a place where effort matters.
